Because it is so new, the reviews are still
trickling in as to whether Bidvertiser is a serious
contender when it comes to pay-per-click programs.
So far the
reviews have been mixed: Bidvertiser has its good points and
its bad points.
Ultimately, it really comes down to what
you're looking for in a pay-per-click program. In addition
to being easy to use and to set up for both advertisers and
publishers, one of the biggest selling points of Bidvertiser
is the fact that advertisers can target an international
audience and can also advertise their eBay auctions.
There are also
some strong selling points for Bidvertiser publishers too..
For
example, unlike some PPC programs where you must be paid by
check or wire transfer, publishers with Bidvertiser can
receive their payments via PayPal, once their
account
reaches $10.
...Remember; the
Adwords limit is $100 !
Additionally, as
a publisher, you have control over what ads appear on your
Web site or blog. If you don't like an ad, you can simply
decline it. You also have the choice of whether or not you
want to run eBay ads. Keep in mind, the higher the quality
of your Web site or blog, the more clicks are going to be
worth.
Another huge
advantage of Bidvertiser is all publishers and advertisers
have access to a toll-free customer support number, making
it easy to have questions answered and problems resolved.
While Bidvertiser
does have its selling points, it isn't receiving accolades
from many of those who have tried it for several reasons.
First, Bidvertiser's ads look strikingly like those of
Google's AdSense ads. Additionally, having ads from both
Bidvertiser and AdSense on your Website or blog is
generally not allowed.
Second, some who
have tried Bidvertiser complain that:
-
Bidvertiser only allows ads to be one size on a Web site or
blog.
-
Because there are so few advertisers, most of the ads placed
on publishers' sites are those from Bidvertiser itself, and
those ads generally generate low revenue.
-
Bidvertiser doesn't allow publishers to rotate the ads on
their Web site.
Because
Bidvertiser is so new to the marketplace, it doesn't have
the same solid reputation that a company like Google has
built with AdSense. As a result, there aren't nearly as many
advertisers with Bidvertiser as there are with other
pay-per-click programs.
Still, Bidvertiser may well be
poised for major growth in the future, so it's definitely
worth checking out, especially if you've been banned by
Adsense!
